Export tariff history, cost indices, deployment statistics and generation data — published openly because a dataset people can quote is worth more than one we keep.
Where we can license something, we do, and we say so. Where we cannot — because the source restricts reproduction, as MCS’s own lookup tables and the Energy Networks Association’s engineering recommendations do — we say that too, and quote and link instead of republishing. The distinction is set out on each page that relies on it.

UK solar generation by location, pitch and orientation — 625 modelled values as CSV, under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. This is the dataset both our calculators run on.
Every SEG export tariff — compiled from Ofgem’s annual report, which is Open Government Licence material, so it is republished with attribution rather than summarised.
Shading loss factors — fifteen modelled scenarios with annual, summer and winter losses, using the shade factor method MIS 3002 sanctions.
Cost indices, deployment statistics by constituency, and export tariff history are planned. Each ships when it can be sourced and licensed properly rather than scraped.
